Do you know what makes a ship float? And what allows it to sink or float at will? And, in general, why do some objects float easily while others sink in water like a stone? Come discover the power of buoyancy!

Water has the ability to make things float!
In the Submarine science kit, we will learn about the buoyancy that allows us all to swim in a pool without sinking, discover which forces influence the buoyancy of objects, and build different types of ships ourselves.
How does it work?
Before we start building ships, we will experiment and see how the water's buoyancy affects various objects and tools, and understand the forces acting on every object in the water. On one hand, the buoyancy that pushes it upward, and on the other hand, its mass (weight). When these forces are equal, the object will float on the water. In addition, we will learn what an object's "density" is, which also has a significant effect on buoyancy. After understanding these secrets, we will build various ships ourselves out of plastic bottles and attach an underwater motor with a propeller to sail them toward the horizon!

Science kit contents:
Instruction and explanation booklet, underwater motor, propeller belt, fin, board propeller, and battery safety ring.
*To operate the submarine, you must provide a 1.5V AA battery, not included.

The Submarine science kit allows your children to "jump into the water" and become familiar with physics terms related to buoyancy. The hands-on experience of building different ships and understanding the principles of how they work will enrich the children's imaginations and greatly contribute to their engineering thinking skills.
