Did you know that we can enjoy sunlight even at night? Want to know how it's done? We capture solar radiation, convert it into electrical energy, and use it to create light in the dark. Sound complicated? We have a surprise for you: you are going to do it yourself!

There's something new under the sun: an Eco-Flashlight!
Solar radiation is an excellent source for generating electricity. To turn solar radiation into electricity, we must use solar cells that convert sunlight into electrical energy. In the Eco-Flashlight science kit, we will learn how to generate, store, and use solar energy and build our own flashlight that glows in the dark!
How does it work?
The secret lies in the solar panel, which is capable of absorbing solar energy from sunlight and storing it in a special rechargeable battery. When evening falls, the solar panel no longer receives sunlight, and electricity generation stops. This is exactly the signal the LED light has been waiting for all day... it turns on and emits light in the darkness, using the electrical energy stored in the battery. At sunrise, the solar panel is exposed to the sun's rays and begins generating electricity again. For the LED bulb, this is the signal to turn itself off and wait patiently until evening...
